The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the provision of new lactation consultants posts in 2022.

I have also received notice from Senator Jerry Buttimer of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the provision of Kaftrio treatment for children with cystic fibrosis.

I have also received notice from Senator Lynn Boylan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Agriculture, Food and the Marine to make a statement on his views on the Cypriot proposal for an EU-wide positive list system to regulate exotic pet trade in advance of the European Council AGRIFISH meeting on 24 May.

I have also received notice from Senator Malcolm Byrne of the following matter:

I have also received notice from Senator Victor Boyhan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to make a statement on the programme for redevelopment of regional laboratories and the implementation of a new laboratory information management system.

I have also received notice from Senator Maria Byrne of the following matter:

The need for the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to make a statement on the inclusion of pharmacy and other dispensing assistants and pharmaceutical technicians on the ineligible list of occupations for employment permits.

I have also received notice from Senators Seán Kyne and John Cummins of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to review maximum payments for housing adaption and housing aid grants to take account of inflation.

I have also received notice from Senator Sharon Keogan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on a post-Covid return to in-person consultations for women seeking access to a termination of pregnancy services.

Of the matters raised by the Senators that are suitable for discussion, the Cathaoirleach has selected those of Senators Marie Sherlock, Jerry Buttimer, Lynn Boylan and Malcolm Byrne and they will be taken now. The Cathaoirleach regrets that he had to rule out of order the matter raised by Senators Seán Kyne and John Cummins on the grounds that the relevant Minister has no official responsibility in the matter. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
