Message to Dáil

Chairman

In accordance with Standing Order 101, the following message will be sent to the Dáil:

The Select Committee on Enterprise, Trade and Employment has completed its consideration of the following Revised Estimate for public services for the year ending 31 December 2022: Vote 32 - Enterprise, Trade and Employment.

I thank the Minister and his officials for assisting the committee in the consideration of the Revised Estimates. I received the Minister's letter on remote working and the joint committee will discuss it at our meeting next week.

That is great. I thank the Chairman for the meeting. We are sending a lot of legislation the committee's way at the moment. The report is done on sick pay and we sent the letter yesterday, which the Chairman spoke to my adviser about, on remote working. I appreciate the volume of work the committee is doing, which does not always get noticed, and the efficiency with which the committee, the clerk to the committee and the staff are dealing with things.
