I move amendment No. 24:
In page 15, subsection (4), line 20, after "reduced" to insert "by virtue of such cesser of office".
This is a technical drafting amendment which clarifies that a person's remuneration should not be reduced by virtue of their ceasing to hold an office of Dublin County Manager or Assistant County Manager for County Dublin after the dissolution of the administrative county. Without the amendment the effect of the provision could be that the salary of a public servant would not be reduced in any circumstances.
