SECTION 107.

Question proposed: "That section 107 stand part of the Bill."

I compliment the Minister on the way he has proceeded with business relief and capital acquisitions tax. He has made huge strides in the budgets he has introduced. However, having gone this far does he intend to abolish it entirely?

In my next budget.

The Minister put a lot of advisers, not accountants, out of commission. He has gone so far that he might as well take the next step. Is the Minister heading down that road?

That is the logical direction. We are looking at the cost implications. Revenue loss would be small at £1.2 million. This also applies to agricultural land and that is where the cost arises.

Question put and agreed to.
Sections 108 and 109 agreed to.
