Select Committee Town Planning Bill, 1929 debate -
Thursday, 27 Jun 1929

Election of Chairman

I propose that Senator Brown act as Chairman of the Committee.

I second the motion.

I am not sure that I will be able, if elected, to act. If I find that I cannot continue to act, I will let the Committee know.

Question put and agreed to.
Letter read from Sir John Griffith asking to be discharged from the Committee as he will not be in Dublin during July, and is at present ill.

This Committee, I think, has not power to discharge a Senator from membership of the Committee.

Colonel Moore

Senator Sir John Griffith may be in a position to attend during the proceedings of the Committee later.

The Committee adjourned at 11.15 a.m. to a date to be fixed by the Chairman.
