SECTION 89.

I move amendment No. 92 :—

In line 51, to delete " the territorial seas of ".

Is not "outside the State" good enough ?

You do not want to send them to far foreign fields, surely ?

The section sends them to far foreign fields because it says :—

Every reservist who is called out on permanent service shall be liable at all times to render military service within the State and, if he is employed on a State ship or service aircraft, be liable at all times while so employed to render military service outside the territorial seas of the State.

Only on a ship.

Obviously there are service aircraft.

You are suggesting that we might want them to go to France ?

You might want that.

Not at this stage, anyhow.
