I move amendment No. 45:—
In sub-section (1), page 39, line 12, to insert " or a process is carried on which gives rise to siliceous dust or asbestos dust," before " a person ".
This amendment and amendment No. 47 are just tightening-up amendments. They do not affect the structure of the sections.
I move amendment No. 46:—
In sub-section (1), page 39, lines 15 and 16, to delete " other than intervals allowed in the course of a spell of continuous employment ".
As there is doubt that the prohibition on the taking of meals might not apply where workers carried on under a continuous process of shift-work, I have tabled this amendment to delete the words " other than intervals allowed in the course of a spell of continuous employment ".
