SECTION 95.
I move amendment No. 68 :—
In sub-section (3), page 61, lines 51 and 52, to delete " powers of entry, inspection and taking of legal proceedings " and substitute " powers of entry and inspection ".
This amendment was decided for consulting the Department of Local Government regarding the correct way of providing for power of prosecution by the sanitary authority who have duties in relation to sanitary offences and fire precautions in factories.

Does it mean that the sanitary authority will not have power to take legal proceedings ?
This is to be read in conjunction with the amendment tabled under Section 107. What has been deleted in this amendment is being restored in a somewhat different way under Section 107.
