SECTION 58.

I move amendment No. 152:

In page 49, subsection (3), line 9, before "approve" to insert "by order".

This is a drafting amendment providing that the Minister will make an order if approving the revocation of the toll scheme, thus making this provision consistent with various other sections of the Bill.

SECTION 59.

I move amendment No. 153:

In page 49, subsection (1), line 21, to delete "of the Garda Síochána".

We come to amendment No. 154. Amendment No. 155 is an alternative and therefore, they may be discussed together.

I move amendment No. 154:

In page 49, subsection (1), line 21, after "Síochána" to insert "and the local authorities involved".

This is the same as amendment No. 155 in the name of the Minister so I am prepared to withdraw it.

I move amendment No. 155:

In page 49, between lines 23 and 24, to insert the following subsection:

"(2) The Authority shall consult with the appropriate road authority under section 13 before making bye-laws in relation to a national road.".

In page 50, subsection (4), line 16, before "fee" to insert "specified".
