SECTION 5.

(1) This Act may be cited as the Public Charitable Hospitals (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1930.

(2) This Act shall remain in force until the 1st July, 1933, and shall then expire.

I move:

" In Clause 5 (2), line 6, to delete the figures " 1933," and substitute therefor the figures " 1934."

My reason for moving this amendment is that it is quite possible that a period of three months may elapse before the Bill passes the Dáil and then it is possible that the Seanad may hold it up for nine months. In order to obviate that difficulty I propose that the Act instead of ending in 1933 should end in 1934.
