721 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children the mileage on each operational ambulance in the Western Health Board area, the location of each ambulance and its associated mileage; the plans he has to increase the funding provided to the health board to upgrade its fleet; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Western Health Board is responsible for the provision of ambulance services in its functional area. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matters raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
