40 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform his views on the recent suggestion by the President of the High Court that consideration should be given to televising the courts; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2498/04]
View answerI noted the views recently expressed by the President of the High Court in relation to televising court proceedings. However, the conduct of court proceedings is primarily a matter for the Judiciary and I would be open to considering any proposals made in this regard.
