43 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he has received the report from the steering group working under the SMI on Garda organisational structures; the main findings of the report; if it is intended to publish the report; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed that the Garda SMI Implementation Steering Group is in the process of finalising a report which will be forwarded to me in the coming weeks. I will give careful consideration to all of the steering group's recommendations and the question of publication.
