Written answers

An application for naturalisation on behalf of the person in question, who is a minor, was received in the citizenship section of my Department on 26 August 2003. Some additional information was requested in connection with this application in September 2003 and I understand that while a response to this request was received on 5 February last, the information provided was incomplete. My officials are taking up the matter once more with the applicant. When the remaining information is submitted, it should be possible to finalise the case shortly thereafter. As soon as I have reached a decision on the matter, I will inform both the applicant and the Deputy of the outcome.
