View answerPublication of a multi-annual programme entails a considerable detailed review of all large scale building projects that were not authorised to proceed under the 2004 schools building programme. As part of the process, consultations are under way with the education partners regarding the prioritisation criteria used for large scale building projects. The purpose of these consultations is to ensure that the criteria have optimum precision and are tuned to meeting the priority accommodation needs of the primary and post-primary sectors. When the consultations have been completed my Department's planning section will carry out a review of individual projects and frame a multi-annual programme. I expect to make further announcements on progress during the year.
