260 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children the funding made to each nursing home in County Roscommon under the winter initiative; the number of patients in each nursing home under this scheme; the rate charged per patient per week; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The provision of health services is, in the first instance, the responsibility of the Western Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him as a matter of urgency.
