339 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the number of contracts or procurements funded directly or indirectly by his Department during the past seven years in respect of which cost overruns have occurred; the full extent of such overruns; the cause or causes of same; the action taken to prevent a reoccurrence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. It has not been possible, in the time available, to identify and assemble all the relevant material over the past seven years as required by the Deputy. I have asked my Department to compile the information and I will issue a comprehensive reply directly to the Deputy as early as possible.
