398 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will investigate whether a person (details supplied) in County Mayo was left on a trolley in Mayo General Hospital, Castlebar, County Mayo, from Thursday, 5 February 2004 to Monday, 9 February 2004; the reason this was allowed to happen; and if he will outline the circumstances surrounding this case. The provision of services to residents of County Mayo is the responsibility of the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply directly to the Deputy.
