199 Dr. Cowley asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will give further details to those given in Parliamentary Question No. 363 of 17 February 2004; if a person (details supplied) in County Mayo with aniridia is entitled to replacement lenses as required; if their medical circumstances come within this category; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the provision of optometric services to eligible persons in County Mayo rests with the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
