View answerThe Courts Service is responsible for the day-to-day management of the courts under the Courts Service Act 1998. I am responsible for ensuring that it is adequately funded and €97.49 million will be provided in 2004.
The service allocates resources and implements its strategic plans and policies and maintains an appropriate level of service. However, judicial resources are being reviewed.
