View answerWhen drafting the necessary legislation required for the introduction of the smoke-free workplaces measure, legal advice was received from the Attorney General. I am satisfied that I am taking all the necessary precautions to ensure the legislation is sound. It is not possible to guarantee that any legislation is immune to a legal challenge.
