129 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the reason for the delay in regard to an application by a person (details supplied) in County Donegal, in view of the fact that his Department received notification of State aid approval at the end of June 2003; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is currently in the process of considering the significant number of private sector grant applications received, taking account of existing commitments and competing demands on the environment fund, with a view to advising applicants of the outcome as soon as possible.
