Questions (276)

Seán Crowe

Question:

363 Mr. Crowe asked the Minister for Transport if his attention has been drawn to the fact that a growing population lives beyond the Square in Tallaght and that it makes social, economic and financial sense to extend the Luas beyond the proposed terminus; and the plans or proposals in place to allow these residents and potential commuters access this new service. The RPA has informed me that it has no plans at present to extend the Luas beyond the Square in Tallaght. In considering future lines and extensions, the RPA will have regard to the overall Dublin Transportation Office's strategy, as set out in A Platform for Change.
