27 Mr. Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if she will identify the ten items, goods or services, which have recorded price increases, most in excess of inflation in the past two years and thereby negatively affecting competitiveness of the economy; if she has in mind proposals to deal with the issue; and if she will make a statement on the matter. According to the Central Statistics Office, the ten categories of goods and services within the consumer price index which have recorded the greatest percentage change over the period January 2002 to January 2004, the latest period for which data is available, are the following:
