Written answers

The provision of hospital services, including the appointment of staff at Mallow General Hospital is a matter for the Southern Health Board. An application for approval of posts that would provide consultant radiologist cover for Mallow General Hospital has also been submitted by the Southern Health Board to my Department. Funding for these consultant posts will be considered in the context of available resources.
