394 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in Dublin 8 will be assisted in every way possible, in particular as they have been identified for an emergency residential placement. [8871/04]

Responsibility for the provision of funding for services to persons with intellectual disabilities and those with autism in the Dublin region is a matter, in the first instance, for the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has, therefore, asked regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply directly to him.
