I propose to take Questions Nos. 566 and 567 together.

My Department, under the Housing Act 1988, has been recouping to Mayo County Council 90% of the cost of providing emergency accommodation to households affected by the landslides in north Mayo in September 2003. In addition, some households may be eligible for assistance under the social housing measures operated by Mayo County Council. It is, however, a matter for the council to determine possible eligibility under those measures in individual cases.

Details of the humanitarian aid scheme available in certain circumstances from the Office of Public Works may appropriately by sought from the Minister for Finance.
