View answerIn view of the rapidly escalating cost of providing the school transport service which has more than doubled since 1997, my Department is in the process of finalising a review designed to identify efficiencies and savings in all sectors which can contribute to a containment of the cost of the school transport service. No decision has been taken regarding the implementation of any specific recommendation in the review.
