67 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the steps he will take to ensure that an application by a person (details supplied) under the retirement scheme from farming will be processed as quickly as possible; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10437/04]
View answerThe application by the person named for the early retirement pension was received in my Department on 19 December 2003 and was rejected on 19 February 2004. The application was re-submitted on 9 March 2004 and, following clarification of a number of issues, is now being further processed. The person named will be notified of the outcome when processing is complete.
