View answerThe human resources unit of my Department is in touch with the officer in question and has offered to seek the advice of the chief medical officer for the Civil Service on any new medical evidence the officer is able to provide in support of her case. My Department has also approached the Civil Service Commission to ask that, subject to the officer meeting the sick leave requirements, it consider reconstituting a selection panel to enable her to compete for a permanent position
