314 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if the CAT scan at St. Luke’s is out of order; if so, the length of time it has been so; the cost to have it repaired and the timeframe involved; the locations to which patients are being referred to during this time; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the provision of services at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny, is, in the first instance, a matter for the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the South Eastern Health Board to investigate the matter and reply to the Deputy directly.
