View answerThere is no formal and fully stated proposal before my Department from Waterford County Council for a new fire station at Lismore. Under the recent review of fire station proposals, initiated by my Department with the fire authorities to assist in developing future station programmes, the council's assessment of its priority needs for future, new or upgraded fire stations included a new fire station at Lismore as the council's third priority.
