105 Ms Enright asked the Minister for Education and Science if staff at his Department are engaged in the preparation or production of documentation, briefing materials, information, booklets, statistics or other information for the use of a specific political party or individual candidates in the local or European Parliament elections; if such documentation, briefing notes, information, booklets, statistics or other information has already been disseminated from the Department. No staff at my Department are engaged in the preparation or production of documentation, briefing materials, information, booklets, statistics or other information for the use of a specific political party or individual candidates in the local or European Parliament elections. However, it has always been the policy of my Department to provide the maximum amount of information to all political parties. I have done so and will continue to do so. I see this as an important part of the work of the Department.
