76 Ms Enright asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if staff at her Department are engaged in the preparation or production of documentation, briefing materials, information, booklets, statistics or other information for the use of a specific political party or individual candidates in the local or European Parliament elections; if such documentation, briefing notes, information, booklets, statistics or other information has already been disseminated from the Department. Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Ms Harney)

No officials at my Department are engaged in work for use by a specific political party or individual candidates in the local or European Parliament elections. My Department provides briefing material and information for Oireachtas Members, when requested, irrespective of party allegiance and will continue to do so in an impartial and even-handed way.
