376 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the funding that has been granted for the new library facilities in Ballymote, County Sligo; when it will be sanctioned; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13201/04]
View answerIn April 2003, Sligo County Council submitted an application for approval, in principle, for a community library at Ballymote. The council was advised at the time that as the proposal was not included in the public library capital expenditure programme 2002-2004, it could not be advanced but would be considered in the next review of that programme. The review of the programme is now at an advanced stage and I propose to announce details, in the near future, of the projects to be included for funding in an expenditure programme for 2005 to 2007.
