122 Mr. Penrose asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment when renewal of work permits for persons (details supplied), which have been submitted by a company through the farm relief services, will be dealt with; and if this application will be processed as quickly as possible. There are a number of issues in this case which the Department wishes to pursue with the employer and with other interested parties. When these inquiries are complete a decision on these applications will be made.

The work permits section has indicated that a decision was made in this case on the 8 May 2004 and the employer had been notified.
