203 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of incidents that were reported in the Inishowen Garda district on each of the nights 14, 15 and 16 May, 2004; the number that were of a public order nature; the percentage of reported incidents responded to; the number of arrests or cautions given in the same district on the same nights; the number of cases still being pursued at another level; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Garda authorities that there were four arrests in the Buncrana district in the period concerned, one of which was public order related. The number of persons cautioned is not recorded. I understand that all incidents reported to the Garda authorities in the period concerned were responded to and that there are currently five incidents under investigation by the Garda authorities.

I have made inquiries with the Garda authorities in relation to the number of incidents reported to the Garda authorities in the Buncrana district in the period concerned and the information sought by the Deputy is outlined in the table below.
