217 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the decentralisation implementation plan for each Department or agency under his aegis; the costs associated with it; and if any alteration will be made to the multi-year financial projections of the Department or Agency in question. In accordance with the recommendations of the report of the decentralisation implementation group, all Departments and agencies have been asked to prepare decentralisation implementation plans by the end of May. My Department and agencies are drafting them. Details of the costs associated with the decentralisation programme cannot be estimated at this early stage of the process.
