View answerI presume the Deputy is referring to the Labour Court decision No. 033 (CD/02/607) on the inclusion of an acting-up allowance in the calculation of premium pay. A circular sanctioning the implementation of the decision issued from my Department on 7 May 2003. Responsibility for the payment of arrears to retired psychiatric nurses rests with the health boards and the ERHA. My Department has requested that the CEOs investigate the matters raised and respond directly to the Deputy.
