262 Mr. N. O’Keeffe asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will investigate the case of a person (details supplied) in County Cork seeking the backdating of a domicilary care allowance in respect of their child for the period of time they were resident in the Dublin area. [16403/04]
View answerThe assessment of entitlement to and payment of the domiciliary care allowance, including the payment of arrears, in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. My Department has therefore asked the regional chief executive, Eastern Regional Health Authority, to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply directly to him.
