327 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if a person (details supplied) in County Kildare can transfer as per their request to another Department; the procedure to be followed in such circumstances; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16412/04]

The person in question is a member of staff of the Courts Service. In accordance with section 20 of the Courts Service Act 1998, the chief executive officer of the Courts Service is responsible for the management and conduct generally of the staff of the service including applications for transfer.
