179 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Health and Children if his attention has been drawn to the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; when this person can expect to be treated; the reason the person has not been put forward for the treatment purchase scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the provision of health services to persons residing in counties Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
