411 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Health and Children if his attention has been drawn to the poor ambulance cover on the north side of Dublin; the number of ambulances that are available to Dublin’s north side; the typical number that are on duty at any one time; if he has satisfied himself with the level of cover; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The question raised is appropriate to the Eastern Regional Health Authority and, accordingly, my Department has asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matter and to reply directly to the Deputy.
