123 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if application forms are now available for the €100,000 grant aid to be given to the farming community affected by the landslides of 2003 in north Mayo; if so, the opening and closing dates for these applications; and if not, when these forms will be available. View answerThe guidelines for the scheme in question have been drawn up and application forms have been prepared. The scheme requires formal EU approval as a state aid before it can proceed, however. The Department of Agriculture and Food is maintaining close liaison with the Commission in this regard. I am hopeful that approval will be forthcoming shortly.
