View answerThe co-operative in question has submitted an application to my Department for grant aid from the 2004 call under the capital investment scheme for the marketing and processing of certain agricultural products under the national development plan. This application, in respect of the installation of a sewerage treatment plant and improvement of facilities in the mart premises, which was received in my Department on 14 June is currently being processed and will be evaluated with other applications for grant aid for consideration by a selection committee. This will take place over the summer and the co-operative will be informed of the outcome.
