View answerIn the circumstances that there may have been asbestos present in the roof of the school to which the Deputy refers the matter was referred to the health and safety unit in the Office of Public Works, which carries out all asbestos surveys for my Department, for examination and report. Officials in my Department recently received and are considering the report. They will contact the school authorities in due course.
