84 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Health and Children the funding his Department is making available for the training of dogs to assist persons with disabilities; if additional funding might be provided in 2004 to allow any such project to progress; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I recently allocated €50,000 to the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind from national lottery funds towards the cost of a strategic review of the organisation's activities, including the training of dogs to assist people with other disabilities.
