McGrath asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the grant aid available to each health board in each of the past five years for works under the housing aid for the elderly scheme; and if, in view of the long delays for these works, he will consider increasing these payments substantially. Funding for the scheme is provided through the National Lottery and no supplementary funding can be made beyond the substantial provision of €11.6 million for 2004.
