Written answers

I am informed by the Garda authorities that they are satisfied that there is an adequate number of patrol cars available in each Garda division to meet requirements. I am further informed that the current size of the Garda fleet is being maintained and replacement vehicles are provided, as required. Applications to have the allocation of vehicles to a division increased are made by divisional officers to Garda headquarters as the need arises.
