View answerThe Kiltimagh sewerage scheme is included in my Department's water services investment programme 2004-2006 as a scheme to commence construction in 2005 at an estimated cost of €13.2 million. I approved Mayo County Council's preliminary report for the scheme in February 2004 and my Department is now awaiting submission by the council of contract documents for stage 1 of the scheme.

View answerThe Belmullet sewerage scheme, which is being advanced in conjunction with the Foxford sewerage scheme, is included in my Department's water services investment programme 2004-2006 as a scheme to commence construction in 2005 at a combined estimated cost of €12.7 million. The preliminary report for the scheme received from Mayo County Council last month is under examination in my Department and will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
